Aside from the flowers in the rocks at Mycenae, everywhere we went there were inviting paths although not taken by me, it was sign that there was more beauty and discovery to be had.
On the island of Monemvasia there is a rock island connected by a causway to the rest of the island which is larger and has areas flat enought to grow crops. At low tide the two parts almost connect. The walk on the smaller rock island took us up on a street large enough for a hand cart or donkey cart ot bicycle but not enough for a car. Each side of the street had buildings, some abandoned otehrs being refurbished. any every hand there were flowers.
Great photos… thanks!
