Today in a couple of hours I went from redwoods, rocks, grass and scrub oaks to date palms. Now in the town of Cabrillo proud of its late 19th century ranch the owner of which gave his name to the town.
Sadly the historic ranch house is closed until next weekend, except for a wedding being held using the upgraded kitchen for catering weddings of which there two this weekend. However the garden will be open tomorrow at 10 and I will be there.
