We took the train from Cairo to Alexandria across the densely populated fertile Delta.
We left Cairo at 9:00 to the minute and arrived in Alexandria about 11:30. The station in Cairo held abandoned trains as well as active ones.
Because the country is so flat train transport would make a lot of sense. Our first class coach was comfortable.
Our arrival in Alexandria meant clean air and a truly blue sky, welcomed by everyone.
Are the sinuses better?
